This is our first physical gathering post-lockdown!

As you can imagine, things will not look the same upon your return with new measures in place to make things COVID-19 secure. We want to ensure the safety of all our visitors, volunteers and members, so we have some ‘need-to-knows’ for you below.

Rules for Bouncing Back

Please be aware of the following:

1. Doors will open at 10:30, approximately 30 minutes prior to the service start time.
2. All of the congregation will be required to bring and wear a face covering for the duration of their attendance.
3. Venue capacity is limited due to social distancing guidelines so we will only be able to admit those who have booked tickets for the service.
4. You should only have members of your immediate household (including support bubble) within one booking, and you will be seated together in the church, away from other groups.
5. If you arrive after 11.25am, your ticket will no longer guarantee entry and guests will be let in dependent on venue capacity.
6. Before entering the venue, we reserve the right to undertake a temperature test using a no-contact thermometer. If the temperature test indicates that your temperature is in the ‘high’ category range, you will not be admitted to the church building. In these circumstances, should you wish to do so, you may return 30 minutes later to undertake a further temperature test. If this second test indicates that your temperature is still in the ‘high’ category range, you will not be admitted to the church building and it will not be possible for you to undertake a further test that day.
7. Congregational singing isn’t currently permitted under the government guidance. Please do enjoy worship in your heart and with mild movements or dancing.
8. After the service, you must remain seated until invited to leave by the TLC team to ensure a safe departure. You should follow the directions for exit, and ensure that you leave the premises promptly in an orderly, socially distanced manner.

Liberty Kidz & Liberty Tribe Service

For the safety of yourselves and the children, we have some rules in place that we kindly require you to adhere too.

1.  A child must not be ill at time of admission
2. A child must not need nappy changes
3. A child must be able to feed themselves
4. A child should be able to sit by themselves
5. A child should be able to use the toilet independently
6. Every child must have a label / lanyard (from home) with their registered name and age on it
7. Children should attend with their snacks in a clear plastic bag
8. Children should not bring other bags, but can have a notebook and pen or pencil
9. Please note that we do not have the facilities to store prams and buggies. We advise that you store this in your vehicle before entering the venue.

Driving ·

Rotherhithe Tunnel & Blackwall have no planned closures after 8am. · Delays to be expected on the A12 & A13. · Onsite & off-street parking available.

Public Transport

Buses: The following bus lines have stops in walking distance of the venue: · Bus 21, 53, 172, to Old Kent Road · Bus P12 to Ilderton Road · Bus 1 & 381 to Rotherhithe New Road · Bus 47, 188, 225 to Surrey Quays.

Trains: South Bermondsey Rail Station (Trains from London Bridge & London Victoria) – a 10-minute walk to/from the venue. No planned closures on Easter Sunday.

Surrey Quays Station via London Overground (no planned closures on Easter Sunday) – 30 minute-walk and alternatively a taxi ride is 5 minutes from the venue.

Bermondsey Station via London Underground (Jubilee Line) – 26-minute walk and alternatively a taxi ride is 9 minutes from the venue.
